Just like in Joe Quesada message board, ask YOUR questions to Giuseppe!
If you're NOT familiar with Joe Q MB, here are the ONLY rule:
* ONLY one question par people (sorry)! You can always ask others questions the next episodes...
Thanks for your time and enjoy!

How does it feel for you to see an inker working over your pencils (like Sandra Hope on the INTIMATES mini series) when you are used (most of the time) to ink your own work?

Ciao ragazzi!!! This is actually the first time I ever post answers about me... the only other time I posted was for Gabriele's birthday, it feels strange to do something so new for me... (I'm not very familiar with technology in general...) But, hey, it's actually also really cool...
So, thanks a lot for those 2 questions... I'm gonna try to reply to both with this email... First of all, I'm finishing right in these hours the second issue of THE INTIMATES (the first one should be scheduled for September), so I'll run back to the drawing table really soon. Also, I'm not allowed to talk too much about the series right now. What I can tell you though, is that this series was originally co-created by Joe Casey and Jim Lee, who asked me to be the regular penciller after seeing my VERTIGO POP: BANGKOK miniseries. I was really happy about it, especially because they let me become part of the creative process, in fact I created the school where the series is set, the teachers, and some other things that were really cool to conceive. Jim's artwork will still appear on the book, though, in a way that you couldn't expect. We'll also be promoting the book at this upcoming San Diego Comicon, me, Joe, Jim and Sandra Hope, which is the fabulous inker WildStorm assigned me for this comic. Speaking of which, I'll reply briefly to Xav's question: it's the first time I work with her (I met her last year in San Diego), and I must say that every new inked page WildStorm sends me it's wonderful. I had no doubt that her inks would have fit perfectly with my pencils, since I know her previous works -- and loved them! Also, aside from BONEREST (the first comicbook I did, published in France by Panini two months ago) and the SPIDER-MAN story I did, almost all of my US works have been inked by someone else (so far, by Marc Hempel, Cameron Stewart and Shawn Martinbrough). I'm really glad that Sandra is working with me, they couldn't have chosen any better...
That's it, I guess... I hope I didn't disappoint you, if so please forgive me, it was the first time I'll be better next time!
Cheers (back to the drawing table!) GIUSEPPE CAMUNCOLI
