That was actually done in Lucca, last week. In fact, publisher Lizard Edizioni had just released the Italian edition (b/w, softocover, the hardcover colored one will be out next spring) of the Scorpions.
Cheers! C.

this is my Cammo' sketch ...."sketch"...I would rather say "masterpiece", my personal masterpiece LUCCA 2007 Cammo has been very kind and available (and very patient! I was buzzing about him like a fly for all the time! ;D) to do me this drawing. For me it has been a dream which is realized! I have not read my "LES SCORPIONS DU DESERT" yet, but Casali+Camuncoli is guarantee of quality and this is a photo of the artists ...repeat two very friendly ;D and nice guys... it's really true: as much as more a person has got talent, a lot of more is helpful nice to met you guys! see you soon (I hope) another time Sorry for the delay ;D When I can, I'll post other photos from Lucca

Ciao Michele! Thanks for the nice words, it was nice for us as well getting to know the man behind the Pantani avatar, and talking to you as well. And you were not buzzing at all, on the contrary sorry for keeping you waiting so long for the sketch, but as you noticed, I had so many books to sign that it was impossible doing better than that. In the end, though, I managed to sketch on any book I had, it was important "delivering" and making everyone as happy as possible. That said, I hope you enjoyed the book. In the meantime, Lizard Edizioni is coloring my pages for the upcoming hardcover version (which will feature a different cover), and the French edition, thru Casterman, should be "premiered" at the Angouleme Festival.
Cheers! C.

Cheers! C. the French edition (b&w) was supposed to be released this week in France (as indicated on the Casterman website). As I went to my book store to buy it, I learned it was delayed until next january! I guess I will have to wait until Angouleme then... I guess too Casterman will invite you to celebrate the release of the book! ;D

The cover for the black and white softcover french edition : Too bad I was not able to meet Cammo at Angouleme this year to get my copy signed (and may be a sketch too)!
