"Press Release
SILVESTRI IS DRAWING THE VARIANT COVER TO WOLVERINE #26, BUB!
Legendary artist Mark Silvestri will once again be drawing the mutant that drove him to the top -- in the form of the variant cover to WOLVERINE #26!
WOLVERINE has been on a blistering pace, since writer Mark Millar took the reins of the title with issue #20. Now onto his second arc with the six-part "AGENT OF S.H.I.E.L.D.", Millar’s issue #26 has Wolverine in S.H.I.E.L.D. custody, Hydra celebrating the coronation of a new leader, The Hand picking off the meta-humans one by one, and the secret origin of the Gorgon! Interior pencils will continue to be provided by the phenomenal John Romita Jr.
To celebrate this new storyline, Marvel is producing a variant cover of issue #26 by Mark Silvestri, with the regular cover illustrated by the white-hot Greg Land. Retailers may order one copy of the Silvestri variant, for every fifteen copies they order of the regular Land cover. The book goes on sale March 16th, 2005, with retailers having until February 26th to place orders.

About time we had a decent cover. I can't stand JR JR's artwork. Just will have to put up with the internal artwork from him a bit longer I guess, however the story drags my attention away though...

About time we had a decent cover. I can't stand JR JR's artwork. Just will have to put up with the internal artwork from him a bit longer I guess, however the story drags my attention away though... Wolverine #24 cover was F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!! Richard Isanove painted colors over JrJr pencils! ;D JRJR is one of the MOST solid pencilers in the industry right now and definitively one of my favorite penciler! His Wolverine is one of the classic for me! Too bad his art is not your tastes Léon!
